About Shapes
Shapes is a boutique creative studio, working across storytelling, brand identity, art direction, product design, brand naming, and anything else you need. We’ll help you from ideating, creating, to executing and building. We partner with founders and funded scale-ups, including Akuna, the brand platform founded by Idris Elba, to build identities that hold up as they grow. Small enough to stay hands-on with every project, deliberate enough to make every decision count. No account managers, no layers, you work directly with the people doing the work.

Everyone we work with has a reason for existing before they have a brand. Our process starts there, with the story. That’s what makes every later decision, the palette, the type, the tone, feel inevitable instead of arbitrary.
We use AI where it earns its place, to move faster through exploration, so more of our time goes into the part no tool can do: deciding what’s true to the story and what just looks nice. In a moment where anyone can generate a logo in thirty seconds, taste is the only thing that still has to be earned.

We start with a working session to understand your brand, audience, and goals, then map out a scope and timeline before any design work begins.

You’ll see work in progress at every stage — concepts, revisions, decisions — with direct access to the person doing the work, not an account manager relaying messages.
